Hi:

When I open two or more consoles with the vSphere Client, and I switch from one console to the other, vSphere Client shows this error message:

Error:An internal error occurred in the vSphere Client.
Details: An item with the same key has already been added.

Contact VMware support if necessary.

The version of ESXi Server is 4.1.0 Build 260247 and the version of the vSphere Client is 4.1.0 Build 258902.

¿Anyone knows something about this problem?

Is it just one instance of the client you have running?

I just tried with a host (managed by vCenter but I connected directly to it) and I could open 7 consoles at the same time without errors.

My management PC is Windows 7.

The problem is with only one instance of vSphere Client and with more than one console. When you switch from one console to the other a couple of times, the error message appears.

I have vSphere client installed in 6 different PCs with Windows XP, but the problem appears in all of these management PCs.

I tried to replicate it tonight but wasn't able to. The workstation was XP SP3 connecting directly to ESXi. I opened 7 consoles and could switch back and forth between them without any errors.
