Problem with vlans for ESXi 4.0
Hello, I created "- Management port - configured for VLAN 19 - Virtual machine port goup A - configured for VLAN 19 - Virtual machine port goup B - configured for VLAN 192 " But when I did it, than I can ping server IP management but I cannot use ssh on port 22 of this IP and I cannot log using vShphere client - server is the request failed because of connection failure. Can You suggest me what I can do more. I have version 4.0. This server is connect to switch. Port on switch is tagged with two vlans. I have network card Realtek 8168 I found drivers and put to oem.tgz.
BR, Sebastian

How have you made out with this? If you take VLANs out of the picture is the problem gone?

Hello, I think that my network card didn't support vlan. I put Broadcom and now vlans working.
Best regards, Sebastian
