Did this all work out of the box?
Yes, installation acording procedure below:
1) Disable onboard LAN in BIOS
2) Disable VT-d support in BIOS
3) Install an Intel Pro/1000GT Desktop Adapter ( according HQVL ).
4) Install ESX4i
-> VMware-VMvisor-Installer-4.0.0.Update01-208167.x86_64.iso
or ESX4
-> ESX-4.1.0-update01-348481.iso
Disks attached to the Onboard SATA controller.
Used disks -> 4 * 1 TB SAMSUNG HD103SJ and 1 *60 GB OCZ 2D Vertex2 SSD
System is working fine.
Disk I/O Performance as expected ( always too slow
