I have just purchased a MSI P55-GD80 and I am after someone to build me a boot USB/CD to install ESX 4.0 4.1 using the onboard RAID and current NICs.
I have had no luck as I am not a unix person and am not having any luck finding out how to make this work. Some sites have stated that they got it working but with no reference on what was done.
Will to pay $100 via paypal (but must have it working first)

For $100 you can pick up on Intel Pro 1000 GT and perhaps a Dell Perc 5i. You'll have something that will work without changes and you'll know that the drivers are good.

Most on board RAID controllers are software based and performance with ESXi will be very poor even if someone gets a driver working properly. If you need RAID then you'll want to go hardware RAID.
