asyltov, do you have problems with the virtual machines not being able to communicate with the LAN network? I am getting the same assertion error too.

Re: New version of Realtek R8168 oem.tgz
Hi Guru, Could somebody share with me ready iso image of ESX with oem.tgz with latest Realtek 8168 driver? I believe there are a lot of such images already. I am absolutly don't have possibility to prepare such image myselft. I have corporate PC with Windows. VMPlayer doesn't have needed hardware for it's work. Don't have possibility to install linux at all. But my server is HP dx2400 with NIC RLT8168. Not possible to install ESX at all. Is it possible to share with me such image?

Re: New version of Realtek R8168 oem.tgz
Like DSEN, could someone provide an oem.tgz with latest drivers ?
Or provide a link explaining how to compile the driver and build the oem.tgz file ?
I customized a a boot CD for ESXi 4.0 update 1 with the first oem.tgz provided, and was able to install my whitebox, but the network driver does not work properly. Which source files are required to be downloaded from VMware to have a good building environment ? So many files are available on VMware Website.
I really would like to be able to install a properly running ESXi 4.1 system.
My hardware: - MOBO. Asustek M4A89GTD Pro - CPU: Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition (3.2 Ghz), socket AM3, AMD - RAM: 8GB. - HD: SpinPoint F3, 1 To, 32 Mo, 7200 tpm, SATA II, Samsung
