Recently I started some testing with esxi 4, everything went very well, but I access the vSphere client very slow to log in and also too heavy for the administration, is this normal?

As soon as possible I will put here my experienced and also the specifications of my equipment.

What sort of login time are you having with the client and is it slow once you have it running? Are you connecting directly to the host or to vCenter Server?

It takes about 30 seconds, I am directly and also find the interface very heavy. The VMs run well and with good performance, but the interface leaves something to be desired level of performance in my opinion.

You have the same problem?

I can do something to improve performance, or some setting? The network card I'm using is an Intel Gigabit CT Desktop 82574L PCIe controller.

I find typically it's about 20 - 30 seconds to login. Have you tried this from a VM on the host?

yes, already tried and did not feel much difference, but does not bother me much, though I liked it to be faster!
