 serial port support Ok so now i have to ask as i got esxi to install on a dell optiplex gx620....
no serial port support... grayed out... is there an eta when or if it will be supported?
im gonna have to try a usb to serial adapter...
but was going to run my home automation in a vm as i once did in vmware server......

Re: serial port support As posted ESXi doesn't support passthrough USB or serial at this point. I use a Belkin USB network device and it works fine (just no Windows 2003 support).
