Take a look at this - http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/ESXi_3 ... ted_deviceWhich mode do you have the ICH10R controller set to and are you using the Update 4 install image?

Check the home page for the HCL lists. Have you considering using ESXi 4.0? The drivers on that will be newer and better support ICH10 controllers.

Re: Getting Error with ECS P45T-A Motherboard
load tpm can be ignored, but the lvm error is due to 4.0 not recognizing a NIC. ESX(i) 4.0 dropped 100 MBps NIC support so you can't use those anymore. Would you have an Intel Pro 1000 or Broadcom 57xx around to use?

Re: Getting Error with ECS P45T-A Motherboard
i am gonna try one from frys today, and then let you know.
mean while i download the customize oem.tgz file the forum, then follow the following procedures.
1. Unmount esxi 3.5 2. Deleted the oem.tgz from the root of cd and put the new one. 3. unmount the install.tgz and delete the oem.tgz from the dd file from the root of folder. ( a colleague helped with linux part ) 4. mount them back to normal and made a bootable iso file.
do you think it will help or no
i will try it when i go home
plz advise

Re: Getting Error with ECS P45T-A Motherboard
That'll be worth a try. Would you have a 1 GB or larger flash drive around? That makes changing oem.tgz much easier as you can skip the ISO creation step.
