 Driver needed for Via VT6122/6130 - ESXI 5 Hi All,
I would like to ask some community help with getting to work the VT6122 card under ESXi5. It did quite well under 4.1u1, but in the new version it is unsupported.
The linux source code of the Via Velocity VT6122 can be downloaded from Via Technoilogies, but the ways making it to driver simply won't work in ESXi5.
Please share your knowledge about how can it be done.

Please try, thank you. I just tried this driver on a VIA EIPA P820L single board PC. It has a VT6122 NIC. Unfortunately i got the dreaded "No Network Adapters" message.  I can post some debug information if you would like (and tell me what you want). Thanks

Re: Driver needed for Via VT6122/6130 - ESXI 5 I just did a lspci -v to verify that i had the correct devices. Got 1106:3119. Seems correct.

Please try the attachment here.
Please offer applicable portions, such as a boot log, vmkernel.log, and vmkwarning.log, to see you incorporate a driver by vmkload_mod, when there is a problem succeedingly.

Re: Driver needed for Via VT6122/6130 - ESXI 5 I am running ESXi 5.0.0 Release Build 623860 and the .vib installation works fine, but I do not see the NIC in the vSphere Client.
lspci shows it, but it can't be configured and causes a pink screen when I plug in the ethernet cable.
Is this latest version of ESXi not compatible with this driver?
