Post iSCSI Boot is not working with ESXi 5
I wnat to install ESXi 5 on an iSCSI target (without local disk, over iSCSI).
Installation worked fine with ESXi 4.1, but in ESXi 5 the target can not be seen during the installation process. There are no disks available for installing the system. I tried out different things to get it working, but without success.

Details about my system configuration (lab environment):

- Openindiana (Solaris) with COMSTAR iSCSI target
- Server: Fujitsu TX300S4
- NIC with capability for iSCSI-Boot (Broadcom NetXtreame II BCM 5708 1000BaseT)
- Server and Storage-System are in the same subnet

Can anyone halp me to solve this problem?

OK, solved the problem by myself. Here is the resolution for all that have problems with that stuff:

The LUN was listed in the ESXi installation process after I updated the Firmware of the Network Adapter.
But the server was not booting from the lun. I have to set the option "Boot from iSCSI" to disabled in the card management and the HDD as secnd boot device.
Now the server boots from iSCSI an all works fine.
