Post HP NC550sfp 10GbE
Hi, I recently tried passing a HP NC550sfp 10GbE through to a Windows 2008 R2 VM.

The machine booted fine but when I installed the driver it started behaving oddly. The end of the driver install wizard said it had timed out waiting for the process to complete. Looking at device manager after that it showed the driver was installed and "working" so I tried to enable the interface. When I tried that the "Enabling..." window popped up and it hung there forever (it was left over a weekend).

Anyone have any ideas why this might be?

For reference... I'm trying to pass this through because I wasn't seeing good 10GbE performance using a vSwitch so if anyone has ideas about why that is I'd appreciate hearing them.
