Have a host on a remote site where for some unknown reason the physical networking for the managment network was pulled. I'm trying to establish when this happened exactly. What log would I need to be looking at to find disconnect notices?

Re: Log entries for host disconnects in VC?
In vCenter do the following: 1) Select the hosts 2) Select the Tasks and Events tab 3) Click the Event button.
You can also click the Show all entries drop down to filter to just host events. You should then see any connect / disconnect events for the host.
Thanks. Thought as much. Events only seem to go back around 48 hours despite event.maxAge being set to 15 and event.maxAgeEnabled set to true in Vcenter. Or do these Vcenter settings not govern host level event logging?

Are you able to increase the value for Page Size (Edit > Client Settings - on the Lists tab).
