I use 3 times 1TB in RAID5 as one volume. So boot ESXi and store is also on the RAID.

Also see the link on: VMware ESXi Asus P5E and LSI Logic MegaRAID 150
Just installed U2 on the machine and did an upgrade to U3.

Asus P5E WS Professional with a LSI Logic MegaRAID 150 and an Intel PRO/1000 MT Server Adapter card and VMware ESXi.

Firmware: Asus 0803 and LSI 713S the latest firmware
ESXi: VMware ESX Server 3i U3 Version 3.5 Update 3 - 123629 - 11/06/08

Nice to add to: Ultimate ESX Whitebox

Not sure if this is the correct place to post or not...

I'm having issues with this MB and ESXi 4.0 U1. I will move BIOS to 0803 to be consistent and try again. I'll also try previous build of ESXi 4.0. As per post under install section, I'm getting PSOD right after INSTALL.TGZ is called.

For anyone else having this problem the solution is documented here - viewtopic.php?f=14&t=2215&p=7001&hilit=PSOD#p7001.
