 Passthrough two DVB-S Cards
Hi,
i want to passthrough two DVB-S Cards to my VM (Win 7). First I tried my TBS6981 (Dual Tuner). The Card, working proper in a real machine, never found any signal.
So I bought two Terratec Cinergy S2 Cards: If I passthrough only one card, never mind which one, the card will work proper. But if I passthrough the second card, none of them will find any signal.
So, there must be any problem with passthrough more than one dvb-s card.
Is there any solution for this?
Kind Regards

 Re: Passthrough two DVB-S Cards
Hi,
For DVB recordings always use USB 2.0 tuners, never internal PCI cards.
Reasons? More portable (between computers) and working with virtualization (you can passthrough the device to the virtual machine without any special hardware).
Forget completely the PCI cards! USB tuners are more comfortable (you can connect several of them using HUBs) and less expensive (yes!).
Regards.
