Post Intel BayTrail J1900 compatibility
Hi,
I'd like to open a thread to the ones like me that would like to make a whitebox out of a Bay Trail D platform. I'm interested, and I would like to replace my D2700MUD with something more powerful.

I tried the Gigabyte GA-J1900N-D3V with different BIOS versions, different settings, and different ESXi versions, those are the results

ESXi 5.0u3: PSOD, page fault, Exception 14
ESXi 5.1u2: Black screen
ESXi 5.5u1: Freezes at Relocating modules and loading kernel

I'm sad, it was an interesting board with dual 1Gb NIC :(

Anyone had a chance to try another J1900 board (Asus, MSI, Asrock, ...)?

Similar thread on vmware communities..
Seems that an asrock board shows the same behaviour.
