can i install Esxi 5 on gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r

 can i install Esxi 5 on gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r hello all,
can I install esxi 5 on gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r?. My spec are i7 960, ram 24gb, sata harddisk, onboard nic. I follow steps from this forum but it is for esxi 4. I already try installing Esxi 5 on harddisk but fail (harddisk not found error message) even I already set in BIOS ahci mode. Anyone knows about the solution for my problem?. Should I add another hardware to make my mobo works with esxi 5 for example adding SCSI card, nice,etc?. Thanks.

Re: can i install Esxi 5 on gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r Yes, you can, and possibly even all 10 of the on-board SATA ports will work now that it seems Marvell SATA controllers have a driver in 5.1. I know the two GSATA2 ports worked in 4.1 and maybe 5.0, but not sure about 5.1.
So, you'll get guaranteed 6 on the ICH10R, and perhaps 2 or 4 more depending.
