Intel DQ67OW / i5-2500 / IBM M1015 / Dell TD270 (PWLA8391GT)
The board itself have much in common with DQ67SW, submitted here:
Intel DQ67SW(B3) with VT-d also detected (if enabled in BIOS).
IBM M1015 (aka OEM LSI 9240-8i) with IMR firmware and virtual RAID volume as datastorage = mostly Ok (see below)
Dell TD270 = PWLA8391GT = Intel Pro/1000 GT = Ok.
Tips:
1. Installation to USB stick is waaaaay tooooo slooooow. It is not stalled, just very slow (in my case about 30-40 min). And this is not the stick speed issue.
2. Enable EFI in BIOS to boot from USB without hitting F10 every time (or try "formatwithmbr" setting while installing:
http://communities.vmware.com/message/1819194 ).
Annoyances:
1. Long boot - "loading megaraid_sas" stage lasts about 4.5 min.
2. VMWare ESXi 5.0 SMIS Provider installed and working but showing permanent alert "Battery status unknown". There is no BBU for this adapter by design, so I consider this parameter to be a sort of informational one rather then alert in this case.
Still no luck in searching how to turn it off in single host (no vCenter) home lab.
