NIC installation problem:Intel 82576 vs esxi 5
Hi all,
I'm new of this forum and I hope that some could help me!
I installed the esxi 5
Code:
~ # vmware -v
VMware ESXi 5.0.0 build-469512
on my server cisco ucs-c200-m2 below the lspci cmd...
the install was completed apparently without errors, but when i tried to add a virtual NIC on the VM i recived the following message:
"DirectPath I/O Status: not supported"
and when i clicked on the Info
"The NIC does not support directpath"
so i downloaded and installed the last driver for esxi igb3.2.10 but nothing
i restored the default bios setting nothing too...
Do you know what mean these errors?
