Post Thinking about a motherboard? Tyan S5512GM4NR
Could someone take a look at this and tell me if there is any reason it would not be compatible with ESXi5? Including vmDirectPath.

I found one post here related to something else stating they had this board working but there were no details.

I want to be extra sure that vmDirectPath will be supported before I pull the trigger on a purchase and I am finding very little talk about it working.

For additional information if it's relevant I would be pairing it with the Xenon E3-1200 series processor.

I don't have any experience with that brand of MBs myself. Have you found any mention of VT-d and that MB for other hypervisors?

I have been pressed to find much of anything about this motherboard online.

I found siblings and elder iterations of it though that people have talked about running ESXi5 and some of those mentioned VT-d and even vmDirectPath.

This includes another Tyan of the same generation running C204 chipset like this one.
