While using the esxi-customizer i got a message that says "It looks like you are trying to add an OEM.tgz file that was made for ESXi 4.x to an ESXi 5.0 media . Please note that this is useless because ESXi5.0 cannot use drivers made for ESXi4.x|

I had download the oem.rar file which you posted on the forum . Please repost the file with correct version .

Hi,

A fresh ESXi 5.1.0 Installation is failing (and cannot proceed) because the Lenovo system only has the built-in Intel 82579LM NIC card.

The installation aborts with the "No Network Adapters" error message.

How the 'net-e1000e-1.9.5.x86_64.vib' driver could be helpful for me ?

Used the vib file above and followed the instructions in the following link; problem was solved:

Here are more details of my experience.
- Got the ESXi 5.1.0 Installer.
- Fresh install fails on a system with only Intel 82579LM NIC card.
- Got the vib driver posted above.
- Followed the steps in the link to create a new installer ISO file that contains the new vib driver.
- ESXi 5.1.0 installation was successful.
