Post VMDirectPath a VMware incompatible device?
If the devices show up in the "Mark devices for passthrough" in vSphere client, does it mean VMDirectPath is working? or still requires further testing.

Some devices are not compatible with VMware, e.g. realtek NIC, software RAID card, if they are able to pass through to VM, will they work in that VM?

On the configuration screen ESXi just enumerates the system devices and allows you to mark them for use with VMdirectpath. There still may be issues with using the device in a VM.
