 Adaptec 2940 The SCSI controller was an Adaptec AHA-2940AU (PCI id 9004:6178) running in Windows 2003. The card was connected to an HP ScanJet 6100 and the host was a Asus P5E-VM DO.

Re: Adaptec 2940 Hi, is it possibile using VMdirectpath, to see health status of Adaptec 2940?
I try to enable Vmdirectpath to Adaptec but at next reboot of host, esxi can't find any storage.

Re: Adaptec 2940 With VMdirectpath the VM would be able to see the actual adapter and should be fine with monitoring tools. When you enable VMdirectpath only a single VM can access the device at a time, so you can't share the storage between ESXi and a VM.
