This has been tested with ESXi and has worked with a number of devices including an Intel Pro 1000, LSI 8708ELP controller, ByteCC USB controller, and a PCI graphics card (performance of the graphics card was so-so).

I have the same mobo Asus P5E-VM DO.

I wondering if there is any way to use integrated USB port(on chipset) on mobo itself?

Thanks.

During the beta for ESXi 4 it did show up but they made some changes in the release and it doesn't anymore. I bought a pretty cheap USB PCI-e card to use instead with it.

You might be able to force the devices to be in passthru - http://www.vm-help.com/esx40i/VMDirectP ... config.php - but I'm not sure it'll work.
