 vCenter question
I need info on how to move or migrate a (vm) vCenter server to a new ESX host.

Just to clarify is it the vCenter VM that you want to move? Are you using shared storage?
If you don't have shared storage, one option would be to use VMware Converter (free download). Just shut down the vCenter VM, run converter on another server / workstation and copy the VM from one host to another. You'll want to ensure that the VM comes up with the same IP address as hosts connect to vCenter by IP and not host name.

If you have another workstation / server to use then Converter might be the easiest option.
