Post VM Network Connectivity Lost
Hi All,

I have encountered an issue, hopefully someone can give me some guidance. Previously my WhiteBox ESXi 4.1 server has been working fine. But after a reboot, I can connect to the management port with my vsphere client, but all my guest no longer has any network connectivity anymore (no network access totally)

Having various guests such as Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2.

Please advise.

My WhiteBox Server:-
i7-2600 3.4GhZ
Asus P8P67 MB
16GB
2 Realtek 8169 NIC

Many Thanks.

Regards,
Carson :D

Can you post an image of how networking is setup on the host?

Post Re: VM Network Connectivity Lost
Hi Dave,

I managed to get it working after numerous re-tries of rebooting and re-setting the network configuration.

Not too sure what is going on, but network is very simple.

2 vSwitch - each connected to a physical adapter (1 for mgmt and 1 for VMs)

Thansk for the reply. Cheers.!

Regards,
Carson
