Hi all-

I have a semi-working whitebox system.. it is installed and operational but with no datastore so far..

ASUS P8H67-I Deluxe
Core i7-2600k
8Gb Patriot DDR3 SDRAM
Kingston Traveller 4Gb (system disk)
2X 500Gb WD Scorpio Black HDD

The system right now is only proof of concept. In production this package will be upgraded to 6x or 8x 500Gb with likely a 3Ware 9750-8i controller or LSI MegaRAID controller with hotswap.

Right now however I cannot get the 2 existing SATA HDDs to be recognized on the board's onboard controller. Is there a driver package that supports the H67 chipset SATA 6.0Gbit or 3.0Gbit controllers? The P8H67 has 2x ports each, so in theory this board should support 4 disks natively, even hotswappable.

Dave, thanks. I found that thread after making my initial post. I am pleased to say the ASUS P8H67-I Deluxe appears to work without a hitch on SATA after that quick change in the BIOS drive configuration. It won't support an actual RAID disk configuration, but for testing purposes this works perfectly.
