Post how to find virtual disk path in ESXI 4 server?
Hi, all,

I am using VM ESXI 4 Server and try to create a share disk for oracle RAC on windows 2008. the disk must be zeroed.

My problem: I don't knowto query the path for VM disk I created when I tried to use vmkfstools.pl, anyone can help me? Thank you very much!

I use vifs.pl to list datacenter names, --listdc cannot display path, use vicfg-scsidevs.pl -l -d mpx.vmhba1:C0:T1:L0 to display the following
Console Device: /vmfs/devices/disks/mpx.vmhba1:C0:T1:L0
Devfs Path: /vmfs/devices/disks/mpx.vmhba1:C0:T1:L0

You've probably figured this out but you can use
Code:
--dir "[datastore] folder/"

to see the contents of subfolders.
