Post Backup system boot disk
I have a 4.0 white box booting from a small single hd, which is the only physical disk in the server. All the VMs are running from freenas via iscsi.
I would like to backup the server boot disk, preferably in a way I can re-image a new disk in case of failure. What's the best way to do this?
Can I image the server disk with ghost or something else?

Both the vCLI and PowerCLI have commands to backup a host's configuration. In the case of a failure, you would reinstall ESXi and then restore the configuration backup.
