Post Do not have full control on a drive that was mounted
Hi Experts,
I have yet another annoying problem. Now that I have mounted a share from suse, I can access the drive. But now the problem is that i cannot create a folder or copy anything.
Can you help me? Thanks in advance.

NFS exports for VMware have to be exported with the no_root_squash option.

Check your exports file (usually located at /etc/exports) on your NFS server and modify as necessary.

Ref: http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/VMware_ ... _WP_EN.pdf

Also, verify that the exported NFS share has been exported as rw for your VMware host(s).

In your case, your NFS server is your SUSE system. :)

Check the /etc/exports file on that system, and make sure you have the no_root_squash option set for the directory that you're trying to export and mount on your VMware host.
