I tried to change the E1000 with the VMXNET 3 but the problem persists.
I tried to re-create the .vmx file but nothing.
I tried to power on 2 other VMs (Ubuntu Desktop and Fedora) and... the network works!
So the problem is either in the host that deliberately blocks the Windows 7 and Ubuntu Server VM or in the VMs themselves.
If I use wget from the host, it works and even I can reach it via SSH from internet.
I moved my installation from hard disk to USB key. The hard disk has been formetted and then added as a datastore.
It is a standalone host, with free license, I don't have vCenter and I don't know what is vShield Zones :/
What do you mean with "VM to VM communications"?
They are all in the same vSwitch 0 and in the same Virtual Machine Port Group as you can see in the screenshot posted above.
PS: take a look at PMs!

EDIT: I re-added another VM, a Windows Server 2008 R2, and it is affected by the same problem
