Post sharing suse hard drive to vmware host
Hi Dave,
I have included an attachment file, which is a log of the commands that i have used in my Suse pc, to attempt to share a folder from my suse pc to a VMware host via exportfs command. After that I have tried to mount the suse pc's folder on the Vmware host.

"mount -t nfs 18.0.0.5:/data /backup" is the command that i tried to use
on the Vmware host.

note:
- 18.0.0.5 is the suse pc ip address,
- data is the to-be-shared folder
- backup is the host mount point

could you please give me any suggestions, Thanks in advance

regards
Philip

You'll want to mount it as a datastore (with esxcfg-nas at the console) or with the vSphere client.
