 Riello UPS and ESXi 4.1 shutdown

Post Riello UPS and ESXi 4.1 shutdown
Hello,

I have a problem with setting Riello UPS to shutdown my host. I have Sentinel Dual SDL 5000 with NetMan 102 plus network interface. I want to shutdown host when battery are almost empty. But I have no luck with setting it up. By reading riello manual i figured out that I need some king of licence on ESXi. Since I have free version of ESXi, is it possible to connect ups with host?

Do you have a link to the manual or steps for this?

With ESXi free the API is read-only so one is limited to the command set that can be run on the host.
