ESXi 4.0

TYAN S2912G2NR with AMD 2384 (Shanghai 45nm 2.7Ghz QC)
BIOS v4.0
Forcedeth Ethernet x2
MCP55 based SATA for VMFS
Installed to a USB Flash drive

Nothing attached to the IDE interfaces (else it hangs or crashes
at the loading of the AMD_PATA driver) I had to load ESX via a SATA
based CD/DVD drive. Here's the curious part, if you disable IDE in the bios, it hangs at random times during the install......

BIOS supports AMD-V virt and PowerNow. (both enabled)

(also works with ESX 3.5 original, but none of the updates to 3.5)

Update:

Works with vsphere 4.1 and 4.1 update1. Boot from SATA.

No devices on the IDE channel, else it hangs.

2 QC and 16GB
