Supermicro AOC-SAS2LP-H8iR / LSI SAS 2108 RAID Controller

The Supermicro controller is supported with no modification.
For the onboard NIC you need the atl1e driver from
http://www.vm-help.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1876.
CAUTION: this RAID controller is new generation. In older mainboards (without EFI, I believe), you cannot enter the web configuration menu. So you have to get along with the LSI commandline interface, which is ... not so nice. Sadly, the driver CD that comes with the controller gives you no better options. It would be great if there would be a bootable Linux on the CD with the webinterface for older mainboards/BIOSes.
