Hi folks

At home I have the following hardware running ESXi 4.1 U1, i chose an i3 to have a low power consuming server with the flexibility of virtualisation with ESXi.

The hardware:

• be quiet! Pure Power L7 300W
• MSI H55M-E33
• Intel i3 540
• 8GB Memory (GeIL Value PLUS GVP38GB1333C9DC)

Onboard NIC working with the oem.tgz from somewhere else which I uploaded to /bootbank.

Added to be sure (and to not have any problems during boot) an Intel 1000 MT Desktop Adapter NIC.

Onboard storage is working in AHCI mode...

Motherboard supports VT-X and VT-D (but i3 does not support VT-D as far as I know)

Installation procedure:
Install ESXi with ESXi 4.0 U1 and upgrade with the vCLI to ESXi 4.1 U1.
Without the oem.tgz everything works, except the onboard NIC...
If you upload the oem.tgz with WinSCP to /bootbank and reboot everything should work...
