Does anyone know if this mobo support VT, and has anyone tried ESX4 on this board?

I haven't used the board myself so I wouldn't take this answer as definitive, but on this page you'll notice the "without VT function" notes - http://support.asus.com/cpusupport/cpu_ ... e=P5KPL-AM

There might be something more definitive in the BIOS upgrade release notes and I would also check out the BIOS manual for the MB.

Thanks Dave.

So do you mean, there may be possible bios upgrades by manufacturers to support VT?

I would do some looking on Intel's website about the chiptset used for this. If it supports VT-x then it's just a matter of the BIOS exposing the options which doesn't always get done. If the chipset doesn't support VT-x now then it won't latter on.
