The manual states that the MB supports AMD IOMMU. Have you tried vmdirectpath with ESX 4?

unfortunately

The function don't work.

Can you tell me where do you find the information?

The new chip from amd(ATI) IOMMU will support this.
But it is too expensive.

The board and cpu is very cheap from bid,and you can add a lot of memory.
It will be better than Xeon solution.

The manual here mentions that it has an IOMMU menu - http://www.supermicro.com/Aplus/motherb ... 8dme-2.cfm. I haven't looked at IOMMU / vmdirectpath as I've been using Intel CPUs, but I know on the Intel boxes I've generally needed to enable the Directed I/O option for it to work.

I try to open IOMMU from Bios.
The vmdirectpath can't still work.
I guess the chipset can't support the function.
