I'm studying vmware esxi server and I fall on hardware support problem. Thanks to this forum and open-vdrivers project I known that linux native drivers are not suitable for esxi platform, so... is there a guide/howto to port linux native drivers in esxi? open-vdrivers project shows how to compile a driver but none about porting (isn't it?)

If you search the forums here there is a link to a short how to for prepping a Linux driver for ESXi, but nothing comprehensive. If you want to develop a driver from scratch you might need to look at the developer programs - https://www.vmdev.net/
