If you want to use Timothy's file, just rename to to oem.tgz. The actual file is http://www.vm-help.com/esx/esx3i/Custom ... -2-oem.tgz but I think it may be that IE (assuming you're using it) likes to save it as a tar file.

ok trying that now... i thought that file also had support for sata and other hardware too..... wasnt sure how to get say the original file plus add that one supported part... i couldnt figure it out for the life of me...

Merging the files is a bit of work. If you copy say the unified file to /bootbank/ and then want to add another, you would
1) copy and extract the /bootbank copy to /tmp 2) add any driver files from the other oem.tgz file 3) update simple.map / pci.ids 4) tar it up and copy it back to /bootbank
